1 DS-110/120 series time relay application

This series of time relays is used in various protection and automatic circuits to provide adjustable delay for the action of controlled components.
Overview of Structure 2
The relay is a suction type electromagnetic relay with a delay mechanism.
The relay has one instantaneous conversion contact and one delayed closing main contact. For DS-1141115116124125126 relay, there is an additional delayed sliding main contact.
The coil of the relay is fixed inside the U-shaped magnet. When a voltage is applied to both ends of the coil, the armature (iron core) is sucked in, and the instantaneous dynamic contact is closed and the dynamic contact is disconnected. At the same time, the delay mechanism starts to move. Under the action of the tension spring of the delay mechanism, after a certain period of time (setting time), the main contact of the delayed dynamic contact is closed (for DS-114, 115, 116, 124, 125, 126 relays, the sliding main contact is closed first, and then the main contact of the delayed dynamic contact is closed after a certain period of time). The time (i.e. delay) from the moment of applying voltage to the moment of closing the main contact of the relay can be adjusted by changing the position of the static contact, and indicated directly on the scale plate of the relay by the pointer. When the coil breaks the circuit, the relay and delay mechanism return to their original positions instantaneously under the action of the tower spring.
The relay is installed on a vertical panel and can be wired from the front or back of the board.
