Application of DZB-100 series intermediate relay
This relay is used as an auxiliary relay in DC operated protection circuits to increase the number and capacity of contacts for the main protection relay.
The DZB-115 type is a current operated voltage holding relay.
DZB-138 is a voltage operated current holding relay. The short-circuit of DZB-138 damping winding can delay the action.
Overview of Structure 2
This series of relays is a pull in electromagnetic relay.
The coil of the relay is mounted on the iron core of the mountain shaped magnetic conductor, consisting of a working winding and a holding winding: DZB-115 type has one working winding (current winding) and one holding winding (voltage winding), DZB-138 type has one working winding (voltage winding), two holding windings (current winding), and one damping winding (terminals 7-8).
The dynamic and static contact systems of the relay are respectively fixed on the armature and yoke plate of the magnetic conductor. The armature and magnetic yoke are hinged with phosphor bronze angular thin sheets (DZB-138 type uses pillar hinges), and the relay is returned and placed in the open position by the action of a tension spring.
Relays can be wired in front of or behind the board, as shown in Figure 1 for their internal wiring.

3 DZB-100 series intermediate relay technical data
3.1 The specifications of the relay are shown in Table 1.

3.2 Action Value:
DZB-115 type shall not exceed 80% of the rated current;
DZB-138 type shall not exceed 70% of the rated voltage.
3.3 Return value: (When there is no hold value)
DZB-115 type shall have a rated current of not less than 2%;
DZB-138 type shall have a rated voltage of not less than 3%.
3.4 Maintain Value:
DZB-115 type shall not exceed 70% of the rated voltage;
DZB-138 type shall not exceed 65% of the rated current.
3.5 Action time:
DZB-115 type not exceeding 0.045s;
At rated voltage of DZB-138 type, disconnecting the damping winding shall not exceed 0.045s, and short circuiting the damping winding shall exceed 0.06s.
3.6 Return time: (without maintaining planting)
The return time of DZB-115 type shall not exceed 0.04s;
When the rated voltage of DZB-138 type is disconnected, it should not exceed 0.06s.
3.7 Power consumption:
DZB-115 voltage winding not exceeding 4W;
DZB-138 voltage winding not exceeding 10W;
DZB-115 and DZB-138 current windings shall not exceed 4.5W
3.8 Thermal stability:
The DZB-115 voltage winding can withstand 110% of the rated voltage for a long time, with a temperature rise not exceeding 65K; the current winding can withstand 3 times the rated current for 2 seconds.
The DZB-138 voltage winding can withstand 110% of the rated voltage for a long time, with a temperature rise not exceeding 65K; the current winding can withstand 3 times the rated current for 5 seconds.
3.9 Dielectric Strength: Each circuit of the relay should withstand AC 50Hz, voltage 2kV, and a 1-minute test without breakdown or flashover between non charged metal parts and circuits that are not electrically connected.
Note: Each winding can withstand AC 50Hz, voltage 500V, and undergo a 1-minute test.
3.10 The weight of the relay shall not exceed 1.1kg.
3.11 The external dimensions and opening dimensions of DZB-100 series relays are shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3.
