1.1 YZRDW series lifting eddy current brake wound rotor dual speed three-phase asynchronous motor is a new type of motor developed by our factory for the lifting mechanism of tower cranes. This series of motors has the characteristic of constant power speed regulation, and the stator adopts a single winding pole changing winding with six lead wires; The rotor adopts a set of composite coil windings. The low-speed pole (8-pole) design can achieve impedance through three slip rings in series, while the high-speed pole (4-pole) rotor winding has been connected into a circuit and can automatically display high impedance, which is equivalent to the operation of a squirrel cage motor. Due to the high impedance of the rotor at both pole numbers, it can ensure a large starting torque and pole changing switching torque, while effectively limiting the starting current and pole changing switching current. This type of electric motor has the characteristics of smooth starting, low pole changing current, small mechanical impact, simple structure, and easy use.
When operating at low speeds, this series of motors is equipped with appropriate resistors in the rotor circuit. By adjusting the excitation current of the eddy current brake, the braking torque can be adjusted to achieve safe and smooth stepless speed regulation during starting or braking, allowing the lifting mechanism to rise and fall smoothly or accurately under any load conditions.
