LMZ (J) 1-0.5 type current transformer is a busbar type current transformer used for current and energy measurement and relay protection in AC lines with rated frequencies of 50 and 60Hz and rated voltages below 0.5 (0.66) kV.
(1) Main Structure and Characteristics
The iron cores of LMZ1-0.5 series current transformers are annular and rectangular, with the primary coil as the busbar and the secondary coil uniformly wound radially along the annular or rectangular iron core. The transformer is insulated with resin and the middle window is used for the passage of the primary busbar.
The LMZ1-0.5 series current transformer products have header markings, with the words P1 on the upper part of the casing and S1 and S2 on the secondary output terminals; When a current flows in from P1, the secondary current flows out from S1 and returns to S2 through an external circuit, which is called depolarization.
