The LCW1-35 current transformer is a multi turn, oil immersed, ceramic insulated outdoor device. Current transformers are used for measuring current, electrical energy, and relay protection in 35 kV, 50Hz AC systems.
The body of LCW1-35 oil immersed current transformer is installed in a porcelain box filled with transformer oil, and the coil is in the shape of an "8". The lower part of the "8" is wound around a secondary coil with a circular core made of strip silicon steel strip, and the upper half is the primary coil.
The body and porcelain box are both mounted on a circular base made of welded steel with four mounting holes. The upper part of the porcelain box is equipped with an oil storage tank, which is mechanically connected to the oil storage tank and the base. The joint is sealed with a well elastic oil resistant rubber gasket. An oil gauge is installed on the oil storage tank, and the oil height of the surrounding temperature is marked with red paint next to the oil gauge. A safety airway that can automatically open when the internal pressure of the transformer is too high is installed on the oil storage tank cover. A primary coil head is installed on the wall of the oil storage tank, and the mark P1 represents the head of the primary coil; P2 represents the front end, while the front end of P1 is insulated from the oil storage tank with a ceramic sleeve, and the front end of P2 is directly electrically connected to the oil storage tank.
The secondary coil heads are marked as S1 and S2. When the primary current flows from P1 to P2, the secondary current flows from S1 to S2 through the secondary load.
There is an oil drain plug installed under the base for draining the transformer oil from the transformer and for sampling purposes. There are four lifting rings and grounding bolts on the base for lifting transformers.
