1、 Overview
SMSC surge free regulator (also known as composite switch) is used for reactive power compensation and capacitor switching in the power grid. It adopts advanced microcomputer control technology to make the thyristor turn on at zero voltage and turn off at zero current, and carries current with contact components. It can ensure that the capacitor switching is free of surge and minimize losses. Can be connected to static and dynamic reactive power compensation controllers, with a response time of ≤ 20ms. It is recommended to set the controller switching delay time to 1 second.
