1、 Overview
YBP2-80-500 explosion-proof variable frequency speed regulating three-phase asynchronous motor is a new product developed by our company based on the YB2 series motor and combined with new technologies in electromagnetic structure, process, materials and other aspects at home and abroad. It has the advantages of good speed regulation performance, energy saving, large temperature rise margin, long service life, good performance, low noise, advanced explosion-proof structure, high reliability, and easy maintenance. It can be used in conjunction with various frequency conversion devices at home and abroad, which helps to save energy and achieve automatic control. Its rated power, rated speed, and installation dimensions are the same as those of YB2 series motors.
This series of motors complies with the industry standard JB/T7565.1-2004 "YB2 Series Explosion proof Three phase Asynchronous Motor Technical Conditions (Machine Seat No. H63-355)" GB755-2000 "Rotating Electrical Machinery Rating and Performance". Its explosion-proof performance complies with the provisions of GB3836.1-2000 "Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments Part 1: General Requirements" and GB3836.2-2000 "Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments Part 2: Explosion proof Type" d ". They are respectively made into explosion-proof types ExdI, ExdIIAT4, and ExdIIBT4, suitable for hazardous areas with explosive gas environments in coal mines (non mining working faces) and factories of IIA and IIB levels, temperature groups T1 to T4.
The enclosure protection level of this series of motors is IP54 or IP55, and the cooling method is IC416.
This series of motors can also be made into wet tropical type, dry tropical type, outdoor type, outdoor medium corrosion resistant type, and outdoor humid and hot type.

2、 Usage conditions
Altitude: Suitable for altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters
Environmental air temperature: Working in an environment where the lowest ambient air temperature is -15 ℃ and the highest is 35 ℃ (underground coal mines) or 40 ℃ (factories).
The maximum relative humidity of the ambient air shall not exceed 95% (when the temperature is 25 ℃) (in coal mines) or the average relative humidity of the wettest month shall be 90%, and the average lowest temperature of the month shall not exceed 25 ℃ (in factories).
Rated voltage: 380V
Rated frequency: 50Hz
Working mode: Continuous work system (S1)
Frequency range: 2-pole frequency range 3 (5)~60Hz, 4-pole and above 3 (5)~100Hz, 3 (5)~50Hz constant torque speed regulation, 50~100Hz constant power speed regulation.

III Structural Description
The YBP2 series explosion-proof variable frequency speed regulation three-phase asynchronous motor adopts computer-aided design, which enables the motor to adapt to SPWM and PWM variable frequency power supply
Special considerations have been made in the design of the stator, rotor slot type, and stator winding distribution form to obtain a more suitable inductance value to suppress and reduce the adverse effects of harmonics.
The electromagnetic load design of the motor considers a certain margin, which can ensure the overload capacity of the motor at high frequencies and maintain constant torque output at low frequencies. In addition, the motor insulation system adopts the widely used F-class insulation system internationally, which has reliable insulation and excellent performance. In terms of structural design, its installation dimensions are the same as those of YB2 series motors, making it easy for users to use together.
The electric motor adopts a separate axial flow fan for forced ventilation, ensuring good cooling effect when the motor operates at different speeds.
