1、 Purpose:
CKJ11-500/3.3 AC vacuum contactor is suitable for use in power systems with AC 50Hz, rated working voltage of 3.6KV and below in the main circuit, and rated working current of 500A and below, for connecting and disconnecting circuits. Suitable for controlling the frequent starting and stopping of AC motors, it can be combined with various protective devices to form a magnetic starter, widely used in various fields such as power systems, petroleum, chemical, coal mining, metallurgy, and electrified railways.

2、 Working conditions
1. Environmental temperature: -25 ℃~40 ℃.
2. Altitude: not exceeding 2000m
3. Relative humidity: The relative humidity of the atmosphere should not exceed 50% when the ambient air temperature is 40 ℃. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures. When the average temperature of the wettest month is 20 ℃, the maximum monthly average relative humidity is 90%, taking into account condensation that occurs on the surface of the product due to temperature changes.
4. Working environment: No rain, snow, open flames, explosion hazards, or strong vibrations.
5. Installation conditions: The inclination angle between the installation surface and the vertical surface shall not exceed ± 15 °.
6. Pollution level: Level III.
7. Installation category: Installation category 3.

3、 Product model and its significance


4、 Structure and working principle
This contactor is mainly composed of vacuum switch tube, insulation base, electromagnetic operating mechanism and other parts. When the control power is turned on, the armature attracts and drives the rocker plate to rotate. The moving contact of the vacuum switch tube closes with the stationary contact under the combined action of self closing force and contact spring, connecting the main circuit. When the control power is cut off, the electromagnetic holding force disappears, the opening spring releases the armature, rotates the rocker plate, opens the moving contact of the vacuum switch tube, releases the contactor, and disconnects the main circuit.

6、 Installation and maintenance
Before installation, it is necessary to check and confirm that the contactor has correct model specifications, control voltage, and other parameters;
2. The installation surface should be flat and clean, the installation feet should be evenly stressed, and the fasteners should be firm and reliable;
3. During installation, attention should be paid to preventing foreign objects from falling in, so as not to cause the mechanism to get stuck;
4. Pay attention to the electrical wiring to prevent stress on the contactor;
5. Regularly clean the insulation frame, vacuum tube, and circuit system to ensure working insulation;
6. Check if the fasteners are loose and if there are any abnormalities in the structural components;
7. Check the erosion of auxiliary switch contacts and repair or replace them if necessary;
8. Check whether the moving parts are flexible and lubricate them if necessary;
9. Check if the opening distance and overtravel meet the requirements.
10. The vacuum degree of the vacuum switch tube is generally checked using the power frequency withstand voltage method, and its withstand voltage value should not be less than 1/2 of the rated value.

7、 Appearance and installation dimensions

The appearance and installation dimensions are shown in the attached diagram. Figure 2 is of type A, and Figure 3 is of type B, with the only difference being the position of the conductive plate.

8、 Transportation and storage
1. During loading and unloading, it is not allowed to throw or collide. During transportation, it is not allowed to invert, roll, or vibrate violently, and rain or snow should be avoided from entering;
2. The contactor should be stored in a warehouse that is free from water invasion, corrosive and flammable gases, has good air circulation, is dry, and has a temperature range of -25 ℃ to 40 ℃;
3. The contactor should not be placed on the ground for a long time and should be stored in a plastic bag;
Products stored for more than 6 months should be inspected before use.
