Note:
The speed control knob of AC120 cantilever constant speed strong mixer is preset at the highest speed (scale 10) when leaving the factory to protect the drive system from damage during transportation and handling. Therefore, the setting of the knob should be checked before use to ensure that it is suitable for the liquid being stirred; If the correct speed cannot be determined, turn the knob to the lowest position (scale 1). After the mixer has not been used for a period of time, friction noise will be heard when it is first turned on again. This is due to the pre stress on the friction wheel lining, which does not damage the function of the mixer. After a short period of operation, the noise will disappear. The maximum diameter of the mixing rod that can be inserted into the clamping clamp and mixing shaft is 10mm.
The machine achieves stepless speed regulation through a friction wheel drive system, but the motor always runs at a fixed working point, and the power output speed and torque of the motor reach the optimized values at that point and remain basically constant. Power is transmitted to the mixing shaft through a friction wheel and a central axis equipped with a pair of plastic couplings. The two gear systems are configured on the same two shafts to form two manually adjustable speeds. If the consumption in power transmission is ignored, the power at the mixing shaft end is always equal to the motor output, and a pair of spiral couplings on the central axis keep the friction of the friction wheel at a low level. The coupling device automatically adjusts the required pressure on the friction wheel based on the load on the mixing shaft. Low load causes low pressure, while high load causes high pressure.
When shifting gears in the experiment, attention should be paid to the position of the mixing head and the size of the container, especially the glass container. The mixer must be turned off before shifting gears, otherwise the reduction gear may be damaged. The machine is equipped with two speeds, with the first gear being low speed and the second gear being high speed. The preset position is in gear II. When shifting from gear II to gear I, rotate the plastic bearing sleeve counterclockwise (looking down) to the stop position. Pull down 5.5mm and then turn clockwise until you hear the sound of the steel ball resetting inside the bearing sleeve. When shifting from gear I to gear II, rotate the bearing sleeve counterclockwise to the stop position, push up 5.5mm, and then rotate clockwise until you hear the sound of the steel ball resetting.
