The QCLQ series squirrel cage motor liquid resistance starter is a liquid resistance starter designed specifically for large and medium-sized high-voltage squirrel cage AC asynchronous motors or high-voltage synchronous motors with asynchronous starting, utilizing the characteristics of large thermal capacity and easy adjustment of resistance value of liquid resistance. It is a liquid resistor connected in series in the stator circuit of the motor, and by controlling the value of the liquid resistor and the starting time, it achieves smooth and shock free voltage reduction starting of the squirrel cage motor. The starter is equipped with a high-voltage liquid resistor capacity, which can be used for voltage reduction starting of 3KV, 6KV, 10KV, power range up to 32000KW or even larger capacity motors.

working principle
The QCLQ series high-voltage squirrel cage (synchronous) motor liquid resistance starter uses a special medium aqueous solution as the resistor, introduces electrode plates as electrodes in a specially designed high-voltage liquid resistance box, and strings them into the motor stator circuit. When the motor starts, a low-power servo motor drives the electrode plates to move, changing the relative position of the electrode plates and causing the liquid resistance (string into the stator circuit) to change infinitely from large to small, thus enabling the motor to start smoothly with low current.

Main performance characteristics
Constant current soft starting performance, during the starting process, the starting current remains basically unchanged, less than 3 times the rated current;
When starting, the power factor is high and approximately constant, generally above 0.75;
Smooth starting: The starting torque of the motor gradually increases from small to large, making the mechanical equipment start smoothly without impact or whistling, and the mechanical equipment can smoothly cross the resonant speed, avoiding damage to the equipment;
Large heat capacity, can be started continuously 3-5 times;
Low impact on the power grid, with a voltage drop of less than 5% during start-up;
