The JKV/JKLV-0.6/1kV copper core/aluminum core PVC insulated overhead cable consists of a compression conductor, weather resistant insulation, and corresponding semiconductive shielding, which not only has the mechanical properties of an overhead line, but also has the safe transmission characteristics of a power cable. Compared with bare wires, it has the characteristics of small installation spacing, high safety and reliability, and excellent resistance to atmospheric aging. It is a preferred cable variety for urban and rural transmission projects.
Cable execution standard:
GB12527-90 1kV overhead insulated cables
(Refer to international IEC502 and IEC227 standards);
CB14049-93 10kV overhead insulated cable.
Characteristics of use of overhead insulated power cables:
1) Rated voltage; 1kV、10kV。
2) Maximum operating temperature of cable conductor;
Cross linked polyethylene insulation; 90℃
High density polyethylene insulation; 75℃
3) The maximum temperature of the cable conductor during a short circuit (with a maximum duration of no more than 5 seconds);
Cross linked polyethylene insulation at 250 ℃;
High density polyethylene insulation at 150 ℃;
4) The ambient temperature during cable laying should not be lower than -20 ℃;
5) Allowable bending radius for cables;
A. 1kV overhead insulated cable;
For cables with an outer diameter less than 25mm, it should not be less than 4D;
Cables with an outer diameter of 25mm or more should not be less than 6D;
B. 10kV overhead insulated cable
Single core cable: 20 (D+d) ± 5% mm;
Multi core cable: 15 (D+d) ± 5% mm;
Among them, D is the actual outer diameter of the cable.
D is the actual outer diameter of the cable conductor.
The main technical performance of overhead insulated cables:
1) Nominal cross-section, reference outer diameter, approximate weight (kg/km): see Table 1.
Partial discharge experiment: A 10kV cable with insulation shielding is immersed in water, and an AC voltage of 9kV is applied. The discharge capacity of the cable is not greater than 20pC.
Purpose:
Polyvinyl chloride insulated overhead cables are used for overhead fixed laying and household lines, and are only suitable for voltage levels of 0.6/1kv. During cable operation, they should not come into frequent contact with trees.
