The HYA type urban communication cable adopts full spectrum high-density polyethylene insulation and aluminum-plastic composite sheath (i.e. the longitudinal shielding aluminum tape of the cable is bonded to the sheath to form a sealed protective layer), which has the characteristics of superior electrical performance and convenient construction.

The main electrical properties of HYA plastic local telephone cable are: 1 DC resistance: 20 ℃, 0.4 ≤ 148 ohms/km, 0.5 ≤ 95.0 ohms/km, 0.6 ≤ 65.8 ohms/km, 0.8 ≤ 36.6 ohms/km. 2. Insulation electrical strength: no breakdown between conductors at 1kV for 1 minute, and no breakdown between conductors and shields at 3kV for 1 minute. 3. Insulation resistance: Each core wire is grounded to the rest of the wire cores, with inflatable cables exceeding 10000M Ω. km and filled cables exceeding 3000M Ω. km. 4. Working capacitance: average value of 52 ± 2nF/km. 5. Remote crosstalk defense: The average power of the specified combination at 150kHz is greater than 69dB/km.
