1、 Purpose:
The DSZ1 series electromagnetic power-off brake is mainly paired with the Y series motor to generate the YEJ series electromagnetic brake three-phase asynchronous motor, which is suitable for various mechanical transmissions that achieve fast stopping, accurate positioning, reciprocating motion, frequent starting, and prevent sliding.
2、 Structural principle and installation:
The brake is mainly composed of magnetic yoke (2), armature (3), friction disc (4), manual release mechanism (1) and other components. When the electromagnetic coil in the magnetic yoke is energized, due to the electromagnetic attraction force, the magnetic yoke attracts the armature and compresses the spring, causing the friction disc to detach from the armature and equipment end cover, and the braking torque disappears; When the electromagnetic coil loses power, the brake loses its magnetic attraction, and the spring pushes the armature to press the friction plate, generating friction torque.
Use the installation bolt (5) to pass through the hollow bolt (6) hole that is screwed onto the magnetic yoke to fix the brake to the equipment end cover. Adjust the working air gap of the magnetic yoke and armature to the recommended initial installation air gap, and rotate the hollow bolt in the opposite direction to tighten the equipment end cover.

Brakes are divided according to braking torque, with main specifications including 2, 4, 7.5, 15, 30, 40, 75, 150, 200, 300, 450, 600, 850, and 2000 N · m. Specifications 2-150 are handle type manual release mechanisms, while specifications 200-2000 are screw direct axial tightening release mechanisms
4、 Usage and maintenance:
1. The maximum temperature of the environment shall not exceed 40 ℃, and the minimum temperature shall not be lower than -15 ℃;
2. Altitude not exceeding 1000m;
3. The average relative humidity of the wettest month shall not exceed 90%, and the average lowest temperature of the month shall not exceed 25 ℃;
4. The power supply voltage should comply with the operating voltage on the brake nameplate;
5. The brake has been working normally for a period of time, but due to wear and tear, the working air gap is greater than the maximum allowable working air gap
At this time, the air gap should be adjusted to the recommended initial installation air gap;
6. The working surface of the friction pair must not be contaminated with oil to avoid affecting normal operation.
5、 Rectified power supply:
The rectifier current power supply for the working voltage of the brake is small in size and can be directly installed in the motor junction box.
