The DSZ series electromagnetic power-off brake is an ideal automation actuator in modern industry. When the electromagnetic power-off brake coil is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field that causes the armature disk to overcome the spring pressure and be attracted towards the magnetic pole group, causing the friction plate and brake plate to detach; When the electromagnetic brake coil loses power, the magnetic field disappears, and the armature disk is pushed out by the spring force, compressing the armature disk, friction plate, and brake plate to generate friction, thereby generating braking torque to achieve the purpose of braking.
When the electromagnetic power-off brake works for a considerable period of time, causing friction material to wear out and the working air gap to be too large, the air gap should be adjusted in a timely manner to avoid affecting normal braking operation.
