2 Structure and principle
This relay is an electromagnetic intermediate relay, which operates based on electromagnetic principles and belongs to a type of fast acting relay. It has an attraction coil (AC or DC) installed on a mountain shaped magnet with a movable iron plate on top. When the torque generated by the electromagnetic attraction between the air gaps exceeds the reaction torque, the relay will operate. When the attraction coil is powered off, the movable system will be restored to its original position by the reaction force.
The internal wiring diagram of the relay is shown in Figure 1.

3 DZ-50 series intermediate relay technical data
3.1 The rated voltage DC includes 6, 12, 24, 48, 60, 110, and 220 volts;
Communication includes 12, 24, 36, 60, 110, 127, 20380V.
3.2 Operating voltage: The AC relay shall not exceed 85% of the rated voltage.
The DC relay shall not exceed 75% of the rated voltage.
3.3 Action time: The rated voltage shall not exceed 0.03s.
3.4 Power consumption:
At rated voltage, the power consumption of relays is not more than 2.5W for DC current relays and relays with rated voltage not exceeding 110V, 5W for relays with rated voltage greater than 110V, and 6.5VA for AC relays.
3.5 Thermal stability: The relay can withstand 110% of the rated voltage for a long time.
3.6 Contact form: DZ-51,52 type has three types: 040400220
3.7 Contact breaking ability:
3.7.1 In a DC circuit, when the voltage does not exceed 250V and the current does not exceed 1A with a time constant of T=5ms, the breaking power of the contacts is 50W.
3.7.2 In an AC circuit, when the voltage does not exceed 250V and the current does not exceed 2.5A, and the power factor is not less than 0.8, the breaking power of the contacts is 500VA.
3.7.3 When the contact is closed, it is allowed to pass a current of 5A for a long time.
3.8 Dielectric strength: Each conductive part can withstand a positive AC voltage of 50Hz and 2kV for 1 minute between the conductive body and the outer shell.
3.9 Weight of relay: not exceeding 0.55kg.
