Inductive Charged DisplayDetailed product description:

DXN-G Inductive Charged Display
In fully insulated equipment such as cable branch boxes and ring main units, due to the fact that all live parts are fully insulated, it is impossible for operators to determine whether the lines are operating normally. In response to this situation, we have developed a live indicator specifically designed for fully insulated equipment, which can be installed on Cooper Corporation and other domestically produced cable connectors in the United States. Remind operators and maintenance personnel whether the circuit is live based on the flashing status of the indicator light.
Principle:
At the testing point, the electric field energy of the charged equipment is sensed. When the electric field energy accumulates to a certain voltage, the display light of the charged indicator turns on and flashes. The flashing frequency varies with the change of system voltage.
Usage conditions:
1. Can be installed on test points of 200A or 600A cable heads.
2. The indicator is fully insulated and sealed, suitable for various climates.
Installation steps for DXN-G inductive live display:
1. The live indicator can be installed when the cable head is live. Generally, the circuit and cable heads should be disconnected before installation.
2. Use an insulated operating rod to remove the protective cap from the cable head test point.
3. Clean and dry testing points. Lubricate the inner surface of the indicator shoe with silicone grease.
4. Hook the operating hole of the indicator with an insulated operating rod, insert the live indicator into the testing point, and rotate it to the appropriate position.
5. After the line is re energized, the indicator light of the live indicator starts flashing, indicating that the line is live.
