The QT18 series crane control console is mainly used in AC 50HZ, 60HZ voltage 380V, and DC voltage to 220V control circuits to control the starting, speed regulation, commutation, and braking of electric motors in crane transport mechanisms and similar electrical control equipment.
The QT18 series crane control console is a product developed by our factory using advanced German technology.
The QT18 series crane control console (hereinafter referred to as the console) complies with the German VDE0660 standard and also meets the JB/T6748-93 "Crane Control Console" standard. The product is equipped with a master controller that complies with GB14048.5 and IEC947-5-1 (1990) "Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment Control Circuit Electrical Appliances and Switching Components Part 1 Electromechanical Control Circuit Electrical Appliances" standards. The product performance has reached the advanced level of the early 1990s internationally.
Model and its meaning
The classification can be divided into two types of consoles based on installation methods: rotary and fixed. The models and meanings of the consoles are as follows:
Structural Overview
The console consists of four main parts: the master controller, left and right controllers, rotating base, and seats. The master controller is the core component of the console.
master controller
The master controller consists of two parts: the control mechanism and the conversion switch. The handles of the control mechanism come in three types: circular, square, and square with buttons, and the transmission of the mechanism is toothed rotation. By operating the handle and driving the cam in the switch through gear transmission, the opening and closing action of the switch contact group is achieved. When needed by the user, the master controller can have automatic reset and zero position self-locking, and can be equipped with potentiometers, etc.
In order to avoid misoperation of the control console due to vibration and accidental collision of cranes and other equipment, a zero position self-locking mechanism can be installed on the control handle. As shown in Figure 3, the handle consists of upper and lower hemispheres. Only when the lower hemisphere is lifted can the handle be moved away from the zero position for operation. If you frequently manipulate the joystick and feel inconvenient to operate, you can lift the lower hemisphere and rotate it clockwise by 70 °, and the zero position self-locking will not work.
The maximum operating angle of the main controller handle is ± 42 °, the maximum operating force is 20N, and the control gear can be selected from 0 to 6 gears in the forward and reverse directions. The main controller can control up to 2 conversion switches, and the handle can be operated in a "+" or "m" shape. When controlling the unit conversion switch, it can only be operated in a "1" or "1" shape. The maximum number of contact groups for each conversion switch is 12.

In addition to the master controller, the control box is also equipped with indicator lights, buttons, emergency switches, and other components on the cover of the box.
Rotating base and seat
The base of the console can rotate left and right, with left rotation up to 90 ° and right rotation up to 180 °. The backrest of the seat can be reclined, and the sitting position can be moved back and forth. Drivers can make adjustments according to their own needs to improve the comfort of operation. For fixed installation consoles, there is no rotating base. The Type 1 console seat adopts a movable seat and is equipped with an LT2 foot switch. Type 2 console, with seats and control box connected as a whole through the bottom plate, has a beautiful appearance and is easy to install.

The console is suitable for both 8-hour work cycle and intermittent cycle work cycle. The rated operating rate is 600 times/h, with a short-term allowance of no more than 1200 times/h and a load factor of 40%.
The enclosure protection level of the console is IP30.
The mechanical lifespan of the console at rated operating frequency is 3 × 106 cycles, the electrical lifespan is 6 × 106 in the AC-15 usage category, and 3 × 106 in the DC-13 usage category.
