Overview
The XLKT8 series master controller adopts the IEC standard and has working forms such as AC, DC, encoder, and contactless. Can be connected to an encoder for digital display and control. Simplified structure, fast on/off speed of contact box, good arc extinguishing effect, and high electrical life. High adjustment accuracy, convenient for 0.1 degree (or smaller) adjustment.
Usage and classification - for limit and mechanical programming control
1. Adjustable master controller, suitable for AC below 380V; DC below 220V, used for equipment such as flipping, pulling, pushing, pressing, blast furnace feeding, oxygen lance lifting, converter tilting, rolling mill, etc. In mechanical transmission devices, it serves as a frequent switching control circuit to achieve program and sequence limit and positioning control.
2. A contactless controller uses proximity switches as switching elements and is suitable for equipment controlled by industrial computers and PLCs for signal switching control.

Surrounding air temperature and humidity
The temperature limit is+70 ℃~-25 ℃, and its average value within 24 hours does not exceed+35 ℃; The monthly average maximum relative humidity shall not exceed 90%, and condensation is allowed to occur on the surface of the product due to temperature changes.
Note: For working conditions with a lower limit of -25 ℃ in the surrounding air, users should declare it at the time of ordering.
The protection level is IP55; The pollution level is level 3.
Technical parameters
The breaking capacity of the 10A controller contacts meets the requirements of AC AC-15 and DC DC-13. Its electrical lifespan shall not be less than 1 million times for AC and not less than 400000 times for DC connection and disconnection. The mechanical lifespan of the controller shall not be less than 3 million cycles.
Adjustment and Work Process
Close position adjustment
The circumference of the cam plate is marked with angle values, which are adjusted according to the closing program. The cam plate can theoretically be adjusted infinitely small.

During pre adjustment, you can also use a wrench to fix the camshaft first, and then turn the cam plate with a wrench to obtain the desired closing angle.
During fine tuning: Hook the wrench in the desired direction of the cam groove and strike the wrench moderately with an object to achieve an accuracy of less than 0.1 degrees.

The use of contactless controllers
When working, first connect the proximity switch according to the wiring diagram, and then start the system.
(Note: When testing, a resistive load should be carried! The load can be a relay, etc.)

Structure and Principle of Encoder Controller
The encoder type controller is equipped with an encoder that rotates synchronously with the camshaft, achieving both switch output and encoder output to meet the requirements of communication control.
Usage and Maintenance
Use
The XLKT8 series controller comes with feet, is small in size and light in weight, and is extremely easy to install. When replacing the old LK4 series master controller, there is no need to change the installation size and wheelbase, and it can be directly connected and replaced.
Maintenance
This controller is extremely easy to maintain; Those with variable speed devices should be regularly oiled. The contact box can be adjusted and disassembled freely. When the silver point of the contact wears down to half of the thickness of the contact, the contact box should be replaced. Attention should be paid to AC and DC when replacing. When replacing proximity switches, attention should be paid to ensuring that the technical data of the switch is the same, and the polarity of the wiring should be taken into account.

XLKT8-08/14, XLKT8-24/14, XLKT8-08/13, XLKT8-24/13 type master controllers still need to specify the transmission ratio of the reducer.
When selecting a contactless controller, the working voltage of the proximity switch should be specified as AC220V and DC24V; Normally open or normally closed models; Two wire system, three wire system, or four wire system.
When selecting an encoder type controller, the external installation dimensions of the encoder type should be provided
When placing an order, you can refer to the comparison table between new and old models for selection (see Table 3)
The main controller used in industrial PC and PLC controlled circuits, such as blast furnace feeding system, probe system, converter tilting system, and oxygen lance lifting system, should be a contactless controller.
