I. Overview
The CJM2 electric operating mechanism can be used for 72.5-145kV gas insulated metal enclosed switchgear (GIS) to operate the device of the three position isolation/grounding switch in GIS switchgear. (That is, one three position mechanism can achieve the opening and closing functions of the isolation switch in GIS, as well as the opening and closing functions of the grounding switch in GIS.)

2、 Principle
This mechanism uses an electric motor to rotate, which drives the lead screw to rotate through a cylindrical gear pair. The dial wheel is turned counterclockwise by the dial pin on the screw rod nut in the lead screw pair (when the dial wheel rotates, it disengages from the dial pin on the lead screw nut). The dial wheel directly drives the main shaft and the gears on the main shaft to rotate, and the gears are in contact with the output gears of the three station mechanism, thereby achieving accurate opening and closing of the isolation and grounding switch. The institution has both manual and electric operation functions.

3、 Usage environment
1. Surrounding air temperature: lower limit -30 ℃, upper limit+40 ℃.
2. The altitude shall not exceed 3000m.
3. Pollution level: Level III.
4. Shell protection level: IP54.
5. The wind pressure shall not exceed 700Pa (equivalent to a wind speed of 34m/s).
6. No fire or explosion hazards, severe pollution, no corrosive gases, and no severe vibration situations.
