1、 Scope of application
The CZ0 series DC contactor (hereinafter referred to as the contactor) is mainly used for frequent connection and disconnection of DC circuits over long distances, such as controlling DC motors.



3、 Structural features
The rated operating frequency of contactors with normally open main contacts of CZ0-150 and below is 1200/hour, with a mechanical life of 5 million cycles and an electrical life of 500000 cycles.
The rated operating frequency of CZ0-150 and below contactors with normally closed main contacts and CZ0-250 and above contactors is 600 times/hour, with a mechanical life of 3 million times and an electrical life of 300000 times.
The critical breaking capacity of the main contact of the contactor at rated voltage is 0.2 times the rated current. Therefore, when using it, be careful not to reduce the working current too much. For CZ0-40, in order to ensure reliable arc extinguishing when breaking small currents, the rated current of its arc extinguishing coil is divided into six types: 1.5, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 40A, for selection.
The breaking capacity of the main contact of the contactor at rated voltage and the distance of the arc beyond the arc extinguishing chamber are shown in Figure 1, Figure 2, and Table 1.
5. The thermal stability of the contactor can withstand 7 times the rated current for 10 seconds, and the dynamic stability can withstand 20 times the rated current.

7. For contactors with series connected double winding attraction coils (which have three terminals A, B, and C), their control power must be connected to both ends of A and B, otherwise the coils will be burned.
