HZ-181冲击传感器为电荷型压电式加速度传感器，利用压电陶瓷的正压电效应，敏感芯体受到振动后，在压电表面产生电荷；当振动频率远低于传感器固有频率时，电荷量与受到的加速度成正比。通过测量电荷的大小即可判定加速度的大小。
