TEXU series brakes are double acting disc brakes that operate according to the principles of traditional drum brakes. The braking force will be transmitted to the brake disc at two symmetrical points. Thus compensating for the tangential force on the axis.
The characteristic of TEXU symmetrical disc brake is that two calipers are equipped with two parallel mounted spring tubes, and the opening operation is carried out through a concentric mounted pusher (push rod).
When the brake is applied, the force of the spring is evenly distributed to the brake arms on both sides through the connecting rod.
At this time, both brake arms move along the axial direction simultaneously, so that the force is transmitted to the separate clamping brake arm rotating along the bearing through the wedge block and roller.
In addition, the brake product is equipped with an "equal backlash" device, which can ensure that the release clearance between the four friction plates on both sides and the brake disc is equal and parallel synchronous. The change in brake clearance caused by friction plate wear will be compensated by the automatic compensation device equipped on our brake.
