In developed countries such as the United States and Japan, the combination of vacuum switches and resistance capacitance absorbers is a common usage method. Due to the unique characteristics of China's medium voltage (3-66kV) power grid, both imported resistance and capacitance absorption devices and domestically produced resistance and capacitance absorbers produced according to foreign standards are unable to adapt to the actual situation in China, resulting in frequent unexplained damage accidents. This has resulted in the development speed of the product being far behind that of vacuum switches in China.

But after entering 2002, with the theoretical improvement of resistance capacitance protection in medium voltage systems, the key factors causing problems were identified. At present, the resistance capacitance absorbers used in domestic power grids, produced according to the principle of correct coordination, have completely eliminated the troubles of accidents, greatly improved safety, and revitalized the product with strong vitality.
This product is a high-frequency oscillation absorption device with fast response and good response to small currents, achieving ideal compatibility with vacuum discharge tubes. Not providing additional grounding capacitor current to the power grid, designed for easy use. Purpose and execution standards:
This product is used in AC medium voltage 3-66kV power systems, inside cabinets, and is matched with vacuum switches to absorb the current interruption overvoltage and multiple reignition overvoltage generated by the opening and closing of vacuum switches. It cannot be used for lightning protection, nor can it be used for long-term absorption of high-order harmonics in the system. Parallel use with lightning arresters yields better results.
Due to the particularity of domestic medium voltage power grids, this product does not comply with relevant foreign standards. The product technical specifications are implemented in accordance with GB311.1-1997 "Insulation Coordination of High Voltage Transmission and Transformation Equipment", GB11024.1-2001 "Parallel Capacitors for Power above 1kV", and GB3667-1997 "AC Motor Capacitors" standards. For important parameter configurations not explicitly defined in the above standards, they shall be revised and implemented in accordance with DL/T620-1997 "Overvoltage Protection and Insulation Configuration of AC Electrical Equipment".

The normal usage conditions of the product are as follows:
*Environmental temperature: not higher than+40 ℃, not lower than -40 ℃;
*Altitude: not exceeding 1500m (above 1500m is a specialized high-altitude product)
*Power frequency: 50 ± 2Hz; 60 ± 2Hz;
*Seismic intensity: below 7 degrees;
*Maximum wind speed: 35m/s;
*The short-term power frequency voltage rise at the installation point shall not exceed the rated voltage of the absorber.
