1、 Overview:
The DB-2A series high-power magnetic holding relay is designed specifically for pre paid single-phase electricity meters. The overall structural design of relay products is novel, easy to install and match, and stable and reliable in operation. Relays have high contact pressure, low contact resistance, low temperature rise when the contacts are energized for a long time, and large load capacity. They are ideal components for switching power circuits in prepaid electricity meters.

2、 Structural features:
The relay adopts a parallel magnetic circuit structure, with external wiring terminals and a printed circuit board installation form.
The working time of the relay coil is instantaneous, and the relay coil may not be powered for a long time after the contacts are connected or the terminals are opened.

3、 Usage conditions:
Environmental temperature: -25~40 ℃;
The relative humidity of the surrounding air is less than 85% RH;
Atmospheric pressure: 80~110kPa
Working position: Horizontal or vertical installation

4、 Working principle:
The DB-2A series high-power magnetic holding relay uses permanent magnetic steel as the holding material. Connect the positive terminal of the relay coil to the positive terminal of the DC (80% rated voltage) rectangular pulse signal, with a width of not less than 30ms, excite the coil (connect the negative terminal of the relay to the negative polarity signal), control the contact to close (act), and connect the power circuit. After the relay is closed, the relay coil immediately loses power, and the contacts are held by magnetic steel after being closed. When the relay returns (resets), the magnitude of the excitation is the same, but the polarity is opposite. After the coil of the relay is energized, it immediately loses power and the contact end of the relay opens the power circuit. Due to the use of permanent magnetic steel retention, the relay coil does not require long-term power supply, and the power consumption of the relay coil is extremely low, which can save energy.
