The LZK series open type current transformer is suitable for current measurement and microcomputer protection of power supply equipment below 35KV and 10KV in AC power systems. This current transformer has the characteristics of small size, light weight, openable, and easy installation. It is widely used in compact fully insulated ring network switchgear, and can be directly clamped on the connected incoming and outgoing cables during installation, which is simple and fast. It has been widely used in compact fully insulated ring network switchgear such as ABB SafeRing/SafePlus, Schneider RM6/SM6, Eaton SVS, German GA/GE, French FB, etc. It is also used in combination substations and cable distribution boxes.
This type of current transformer uses high-quality imported silicon steel sheets with high magnetic permeability as the magnetic material, which has the characteristics of ferromagnetic divisibility and low magnetic circuit loss. Its semi-circular core and secondary winding are vacuum cast with high-quality epoxy resin in a flame-retardant plastic shell, which is moisture-proof, stable in performance, and does not require maintenance.
During installation, clamp two semi-circular rings onto the phase separated cable and secure them tightly with clamps. They are integrated with the cable in a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing manner, and are suitable for both 10KV and 35KV cables ranging from 35mm2 to 400mm2. There are two types of clamps available: plastic clamps and stainless steel clamps.
