Scope of application
The switch is suitable for dual power supply switches with a frequency of 50/60Hz, rated voltage below 1140, and rated current below 5000A. It can achieve automatic or manual switching between the common power supply (N) and the backup power supply (R). The main and backup power sources can be the power grid, self starting generator sets, batteries, etc. The main and backup power sources are determined by the user. Enable dual power customers to achieve unmanned operation. This switch is suitable for special or first level load users specified by the state, such as high-rise buildings, postal and telecommunications, coal mining ships, industrial assembly lines, medical and health care, military facilities, airports, fire protection, metallurgy, chemical industry, textiles, petroleum and other important places that do not allow power outages.
Normal working conditions
The ambient air temperature ranges from -25 ℃ to+40 ℃, with an average of no more than+35 ℃ over 24 hours; At a maximum temperature of+40 ℃, the relative humidity should not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, such as 90% at+20 ℃, but condensation may occur due to temperature changes.
The altitude of the installation location shall not exceed 2000m. It is classified as Class IV. The inclination angle shall not exceed ± 23 °. The pollution level is level 3.
If the above conditions cannot be met, the order should be negotiated with the manufacturer. When this switch is used in offshore, petroleum, and nuclear power plants, a separate technical agreement should be signed.
Model and meaning
structural characteristics
The DTSQ2 ATS, as the main and backup dual power automatic switching switch, adopts electromagnetic drive and electrical mechanical interlocking mechanism. The main circuit contacts are static and dynamic structures, and the dynamic contacts are designed in a V-shape. To avoid long-term electrification of the electromagnetic coil, electric closing and mechanical holding are adopted, and the control power supply is drawn from the main and backup current AC 220V (without the need for additional control current). Due to its superior structural characteristics, accidents will not occur when the main and backup power supplies are connected at the same time. The switch has electrical or mechanical closing indication, and can also provide customers with normally open and normally closed passive auxiliary contacts for other purposes. The DTSQ A-T-S switching time is adjustable from 1 to 30 seconds (usually 3 seconds when leaving the factory). If you need a longer time, please contact the manufacturer.

Fault analysis and troubleshooting
After turning on, there is no response. After pressing the command button, the electric operating mechanism does not move. Please check the power wiring of the switch and the connection of the special cable. The three-phase power supply and neutral wire must be properly connected. After power on, although there is voltage in each phase, the panel shows undervoltage. Please check if the switch power supply is connected properly, if there is a phase loss phenomenon, and if the fuse on the body is blown due to the high current of the electric operating mechanism. Replace it with a suitable fuse tube and try again.
Frequent burning of fuse tubes, please check if the electric operating mechanism is stuck and adjust it appropriately before testing.
Precautions for use and maintenance
The incoming and outgoing wires of the switch should be wired according to the markings. If a 3-pole switch is used, the neutral wires (NN, RN) of the main and backup power supplies cannot be connected incorrectly. Otherwise, it will affect usage.
The bottom plate of the switch should be reliably grounded to ensure power supply and safe use.
Mechanical interlock debugging, rotate the switch handle 2 in the direction indicated on the panel. At this time, the common power supply (N) is closed. Then follow Figure 1-3, with the main and backup power sources in the disconnected position. Then press Figure 1-4 (do not release) and rotate the switch handle Z in the direction indicated on the panel. At this point, the backup power supply (R) of the switch will be turned on.
Neither the main nor backup power sources can be turned on when the other power source is turned on. You must first follow Figure 1-3 to select one of the main and backup power sources for switching on again.
This switch also has a function of "double disconnection" (i.e. both the main and backup power supplies are in the disconnected position). This function is mainly used when the load is overloaded or short circuited.
Customers should specify when placing orders, otherwise manufacture according to standard enterprise specifications (i.e. excluding the above functions).
Insert the dedicated plug of the intelligent controller into the dedicated socket of the switch.
Check whether the contact parts of each electrical appliance are reliable, tightened, and whether the fuses are intact.
After the above inspection and debugging, the system can be put into use. Suggest setting the work status to "Common (N) Automatic". Press the power switch again and set the switching time as needed

This intelligent system should be regularly inspected and maintained according to the selected switch requirements. The intelligent controller is maintenance free under normal usage conditions.
