The DW16 series universal air circuit breaker is suitable for electrical circuits with AC 50Hz, voltage up to 380V, DC voltage up to 440V, and rated current of 200 to 630A. It is used for overload, short circuit, undervoltage protection, and infrequent conversion under normal conditions. When the three pole circuit breaker is used in series in a DC appliance, the voltage can be increased to 440V.

Circuit breakers with a rated current of 200A to 630A can also be used in AC 50Hz, 380V networks to protect motors from overload, undervoltage, and short circuits. Under normal circumstances, it can be used for infrequent starting of electric motors. A rated current of 200A~630A circuit breaker can also be used as a single-phase metallic to ground short-circuit protection in TN distribution systems where the neutral point of the transformer is directly grounded.
