The JQLX series electric motor is installed vertically, without a foot, with a flange on the end cover, heat dissipation ribs on the surface of the casing, and fully enclosed natural cooling method. The non shaft extension end of the electric motor has a DC disc electromagnetic brake. The rotor of the electric motor is made of high resistance aluminum alloy material, which is similar to ordinary electric motors.

The structure of the brake: The electromagnet is composed of an iron core and an excitation winding, and the connection is made of high-quality steel plate. The armature is made of high-quality steel plate. The brake components are made of aluminum alloy casting, and the friction pads are pressed with asbestos fibers. The friction pads are integrated with the brake using rivets.

The working principle of the brake: The working quota of the brake is the same as that of the motor. The brake uses an external DC power supply. When the motor is connected to the power supply, the brake coil should be energized at the same time. The electromagnet immediately attracts the armature and compresses the spring embedded in the electromagnet, causing the brake part to detach from the armature and friction plate. The brake part rotates together with the rotor along with the lost shaft sleeve. When the motor cuts off the power supply, the brake should be cut off at the same time, and the electromagnet loses its electromagnetic attraction. The spring immediately pushes the armature to press the brake part, generating friction torque, and immediately brakes the motor rotor.

The motor uses standard bearings, with rolling bearings 308, 309, and 311 selected for the shaft extension end, and rolling bearings 308, 310, and 312 selected for the non shaft extension end.
