The JCQ type lightning arrester monitor is a device that works in series below the lightning arrester to record the number of lightning arrester actions and monitor the leakage current of the lightning arrester. Suitable for various types of zinc oxide lightning arresters with voltage levels of 330KV and below, using the same environmental conditions as the connected lightning arrester. The JCQ series products are packaged in a transparent heat-resistant glass cover, mainly consisting of a transparent heat-resistant glass cover, flange, bottom plate, sealing gasket, high-power zinc oxide valve plate, rectifier, dual pointer electromagnetic counter, current measurement circuit, electronic alarm circuit, protection circuit, etc.

Under normal use of the JCQ discharge counting monitor, the number of actions of the lightning arrester is indicated by a dual pointer electromagnetic counter with counting carry function. The counting indication is clear and eye-catching, and it automatically returns to zero when the hundred digits are full, continuing to cycle and accumulate counting work without resetting. The leakage current of the lightning arrester is directly reflected by the pointer ammeter through the current measurement circuit. The measurement indication range is 0-3 milliamps. When the leakage current exceeds the current alarm value set by the monitor, the alarm indicator light changes from white to red and sends out an alarm indication.

The performance indicators of the monitor comply with the national mechanical industry standards JB/T 2440-1991 "Discharge Counting Devices for Surge Arresters", JB/T 10492-2004 "Monitor for AC gapless Metal Oxide Surge Arresters", and GB/T7676.1-1998 "Pointer Electrical Instruments".
