The JCQF3 lightning arrester monitor is a device that works in series below the lightning arrester to record the number of lightning arrester actions and monitor the leakage current of the lightning arrester. Suitable for various types of zinc oxide lightning arresters with voltage levels of 500KV and below, using the same environmental conditions as the connected lightning arrester. The JCQF3 series products are packaged in a stainless steel shell, mainly consisting of a stainless steel shell, insulating porcelain sleeve, sealing gasket, high-power zinc oxide valve plate, rectifier, double pointer electromagnetic counter, current measurement circuit and alarm circuit, protection circuit, etc. The main features are a large window, dual pointer hundred digit cyclic counting indication, prominent counting indication, accurate leakage current monitoring, overload protection with alarm indication, and vibration resistance of the product. The internal protection circuit uses thyristors for better protection performance.

Under normal use, the number of actions of the lightning arrester is indicated by a dual pointer electromagnetic counter with counting and carrying functions. The counting indication is clear and eye-catching, and it automatically returns to zero when the hundred digit is full, continuing to cycle and accumulate counting work without resetting. The leakage current (full current) of the lightning arrester is directly reflected by the pointer ammeter through the current measurement circuit. The measurement indication range is 0-3 milliamps. When the leakage current reaches or exceeds the protection value of the measurement circuit, the red and green indicator lights will flash and turn off, and the ammeter pointer will also swing and return to zero.

The performance indicators of the monitor comply with the national mechanical industry standards JB/T 2440-1991 "Discharge Counting Devices for Surge Arresters", JB/T 10492-2004 "Monitoring Devices for AC gapless Metal Oxide Surge Arresters", national GB/T7676.1-1998 "Pointer Electrical Instruments", and XC/JT7502-2000 "Technical Conditions for Surge Arrester Monitoring Devices".
