The JCQ-C1 lightning arrester monitor is a device that works in series below the lightning arrester to record the number of lightning arrester actions and monitor the leakage current of the lightning arrester. Suitable for various types of zinc oxide lightning arresters with voltage levels of 330KV and below, using the same environmental conditions as the connected lightning arrester. The JCQ-C1 series products are packaged in a transparent heat-resistant glass cover, mainly consisting of a high-temperature resistant glass cover, insulating porcelain sleeve, sealing gasket, high-power zinc oxide valve plate, rectifier, three digit digital electromagnetic counter, current measurement circuit, electronic alarm circuit, protection circuit, etc. Its features include digital thousand digit cyclic counting, prominent counting indication, accurate leakage current monitoring, alarm indication, and vibration resistance of the product.

Under normal use, the number of actions of the lightning arrester is indicated by a digital electromagnetic counter with counting and carrying functions. The counting indication is accurate, and it automatically returns to zero when the thousand digits are full, continuing to cycle and accumulate counting work without resetting. The leakage current of the lightning arrester is directly reflected by the pointer ammeter through the current measurement circuit. The measurement indication range is 0-3 milliamps. When the leakage current approaches or exceeds the current alarm value set by the monitor, the alarm indicator light changes from white to red and sends out an alarm indication.

The performance indicators of the monitor comply with the national mechanical industry standards JB/T 2440-1991 "Discharge Counting Devices for Surge Arresters", JB/T 10492-2004 "Monitor for AC gapless Metal Oxide Surge Arresters", and GB/T7676.1-1998 "Pointer Electrical Instruments"
