TK3-2 calibrator simulates shaft vibration and displacement to calibrate the monitor. It verifies the working status of the monitor reading device and the eddy current sensor system
Status. A correct calibration system means accurate readings and sensor inputs.
A spindle shaped micrometer is used to inspect sensor systems and calibrate displacement monitors. The probe installation joint provided together with TK3-2 fixes the probe, while the measured target surface is calibrated
The accurate increment moves towards or away from the probe end. The output of the preamplifier is recorded by a voltmeter.
The vibration monitor is calibrated using a motor-driven tilted disc. There is a rocker arm holder on the disc to fix the eddy current probe. By adjusting the holder and probe to the appropriate position
Setting can make the mechanical vibration reach the expected value. The mechanical vibration is measured by a dial micrometer in the calibration device (no oscilloscope required).
The reading of the vibration monitor can be compared with the known mechanical vibration signal output (i.e. the reading measured by the dial gauge).
