The explosion-proof electromagnetic speed regulating motor (hereinafter referred to as the speed regulating motor) used for coal mining machines is a simple AC speed regulating device, consisting of an asynchronous motor, eddy current clutch, and speed measuring device. The speed regulating motor is designed as an explosion-proof type, with a product category of "dI", and is a specialized electrical equipment for underground coal mines. This device is driven by an explosion-proof asynchronous motor and combined with a dedicated speed control controller to form an AC stepless speed regulation device with a speed measurement negative feedback system. As the traction motor of a double drum coal mining machine, it can achieve smooth stepless speed regulation over a relatively wide range. The installation structure of this device is specially designed to meet the needs of coal mining machines. Its installation method is different from other speed regulating motors. When the load torque or upper limit speed exceeds the rated operating range, insufficient cooling water or water cut-off faults cause the winding temperature to exceed the limit value, the control circuit can stop the speed regulating motor to prevent damage.
