The FZK series hollow shaft ultra-thin heat dissipating magnetic powder brake is based on electromagnetic principles and utilizes magnetic powder to transmit torque. It has a linear relationship between excitation current and transmitted torque, and can transmit a certain amount of torque regardless of slip. It has the advantages of fast response speed and simple structure, and is a versatile and superior performance automatic control component. It is widely used in various mechanical applications for different purposes such as braking, loading, and unwinding tension control in winding systems. Magnetic powder clutch can also be used for buffering starting, overload protection, speed regulation, etc. Characteristics:
1. The excitation current is linearly related to the torque: The torque transmitted by magnetic powder devices, as shown in Figure 1, is roughly linearly related to the magnitude of the excitation current. Generally speaking, within the rated torque range of 5-95%, the excitation current is linearly proportional to the torque.
2. Stable slip torque: When the excitation current remains constant, the torque will be transmitted stably without being affected by slip (Figure 2). The static and rotational torques remain unchanged. Therefore, as long as the current is controlled, the magnitude of the torque can be controlled.
3. Quick response characteristics: The magnetic powder clutch and brake have extremely short non response time, torque rise time, and torque drop time, making them suitable for frequent start stop and reversing situations.
4. Low power control: With high power amplification, it can control a large transmission power with a small excitation current, making it easy to achieve automatic control.
5. Smooth operation, no vibration, no impact, low noise.
6. Overload protection: In the event of torque overload, automatic slip operation provides overload protection
