Purpose:
The SS-17B time relay is used in DC circuits and can be used as a time measuring component in time protection systems. Suitable for situations where high time measurement accuracy is required and the time difference is small, and can be used as a delay control component in industrial control.
Working Principle:
The SS-17B time relay is composed of CMOS digital circuits, and its schematic diagram is shown in Figure 1.
This relay uses frequency division and counting principles to achieve delay. The standard clock pulse is generated by a quartz crystal oscillator. The setting method is a combination of two 8421 code dial switches and one DIP four speed small switch, and the setting formula is t=tn * (MN) s. Among them, M and N are the setting numbers of the dial switch, and tn is the setting number of the DIP four speed small switch

Main technical parameters:
4.1 Rated voltage: 48V, 110V, 220V DC.
4.2 Scope of work: 70% -110% rated voltage.
4.3 Delay range: 0.02s-990s with a minimum step difference of 0.01s.
4.4 Return time: ≤ 10ms.
4.5 Average Error: Under benchmark conditions, the average error shall not exceed (0.2% of the set value ± 2ms).
4.6 Delay Consistency:
Under benchmark conditions: when the delay is set to 0.02s-0.99s, the consistency error is not greater than 3ms; when the delay is set to 1-990s, the consistency error is not greater than (0.1% of the setting value ± 2ms).
4.7 Contact Performance
In inductive load circuits with voltage not exceeding 250V and current not exceeding 1A, the contact breaking capacity is 30W; in AC circuits with voltage not exceeding 250V and current not exceeding 0.1A, the contact breaking capacity is 60VA (coso=0.4 ± 0.1).
4.8 Power consumption: At rated voltage, the power consumption of the relay shall not exceed the specified value in the table.
4.9 Medium strength:
All lead out terminals of the relay can withstand an impact of 2kV, 50Hz for 1 minute on the casing without breakdown or flashover.

Due to the precise delay of this product, the minimum delay setting value is 20ms.
