LUCM series U-shaped brushless linear motor

The U-shaped brushless linear motor can be directly driven without the need to convert rotation into linear motion, and its mechanical structure is simple and reliable. The motor runs extremely smoothly without cogging effect, with extremely fast dynamic response speed and low inertia. The acceleration can reach 20G, and the speed can reach 10-30m/s. At low speeds of 1 µ m/s, the motion is smooth, the rigidity is high, and the structure is compact. A linear encoder can be optionally equipped for high-precision position control, and its position accuracy depends on the selected encoder. Due to the high rigidity of the stator track, it can be connected as needed, so theoretically there is no limit to the length of the motor. The motor rotor and stator do not move in contact, and there are no wear, jamming, or backlash issues caused by the use of ordinary screw, ball, and belt transmissions. Therefore, our linear motor can achieve maintenance free long-term operation. Our U-shaped slot linear motors are divided into two types: iron core and non iron core. Iron core linear motors have a larger output per unit volume, while non iron core linear motors have no hysteresis or eddy current effects, resulting in smoother and faster motion, less magnetic loss, and less heat generation.
