The DX-50 series signal relay is used in DC operated protection circuits, which is activated by current or voltage, has a dropout signal, magnetic hold, and electrical reset.

Principle of Action 2
The operation of the DX-50 series signal relay is based on electromagnetic principles. A permanent magnet is installed between the iron core and the yoke. After the relay operates, if the power supply to the operating coil is cut off, the relay relies on the magnetic force of the permanent magnet to keep the armature in the holding position, and the contacts and signal signs remain in working condition; When a short reset voltage is applied to the reset coil, the relay returns to the released state.

3 Technical data
3.1 Rated reset voltage 36V.
3.2 The operating current of current type relays is 60% -100% of the rated value, and the operating current of voltage type relays is 40% -80% of the rated value.
3.3 Power consumption: Voltage type relays consume 2W at rated voltage, while current type relays consume 0.15W at rated voltage.
3.4 Thermal performance: Voltage type relays can withstand 110% of the rated voltage for a long time; Current type relays can withstand 400% of the rated current for a long time.
3.5 Contact breaking ability: When the current is not greater than 2A and the voltage is not greater than 250V, the DC inductive load that can be disconnected (time constant not greater than 5H10-3S) is 50W.
3.6 Dielectric strength: Each circuit and exposed non charged metal parts should be able to withstand an AC voltage of 50Hz and 2kV for 1 minute without breakdown or flashover.
