Application of DZS-10B series intermediate relay
DZS-10B series delay intermediate relay, as an auxiliary relay for delay action or delay return, is used in various protection and automatic control circuits for DC operation to increase the number and capacity of contacts. DZS-11B and 13b are action delay relays; DZS-12B and 14B are return delay relays; DZS-15B and 16B are relays for voltage delay and current holding.

Working principle and structure of DZS-10B series intermediate relay
2.1 The relay is an electromagnetic relay, and a damping ring is installed at the upper or lower end of the relay core. When the coil is energized or de energized, the magnetic flux generated by the induced current in the damping ring hinders the increase or decrease of the main magnetic flux, thereby obtaining the relay action delay or return delay.
2.2 Relays have two structures:
2.2.1 Protruding plug-in structure. Adopting Aji JK-1 type shell, its outline and opening diagram are shown inAppendix IThe internal wiring of the relay is shown in Figure 1.
2.2.2 Embedded plug-in structure (with/Q in the model). Using the Xuji A11K shell, its external shape and opening diagram are shown inAppendix IIThe internal wiring of the relay is shown in Figure 2.
2.2.3 If it is necessary to change the wiring method from the back of the board to the front of the board, a front wiring socket and a middle frame should be added. SeeAppendix II.

Technical data of DZS-10B series intermediate relay

4.1 Operating voltage: 30% -70% of the rated voltage.
4.2 Holding current: Relays with current holding windings shall hold a current not exceeding 80% of the rated holding current.
4.3 Return voltage: Relays with delayed action shall not be less than 3% of the rated voltage.
4.4 Action time: Relays with delayed action shall not be less than 0.06s at rated voltage.
4.5 Return time: The relay with delayed return shall not be less than 0.4s after disconnecting the power supply.
4.6 Power consumption: The working winding shall not exceed 5W at rated voltage, and the holding winding shall not exceed 4W at holding current.
4.7 Electrical lifespan: 5000 cycles.
4.8 Contact breaking capacity: In DC inductive load circuits with voltage not exceeding 250V and current not exceeding 1A (time constant of 5H10-3S), the breaking capacity is 50W; in AC circuits with voltage not exceeding 250V and current not exceeding 3A (power factor of 0.4), the breaking capacity is 250VA.
4.9 The long-term allowable current through the contact is 5A.
4.10 Dielectric strength: The conductive and non-conductive parts of the relay, as well as the coil circuit and contact circuit, can withstand AC 50HZ, voltage 2kV, and no breakdown or flashover phenomenon after a 1-minute test.
4.11 Relay weight: Approximately 0.7Kg.
