Grinding and polishing of metallographic specimens are very important processes in the preparation process. Usually, two equipment, a metallographic sample pre grinding machine and a metallographic sample polishing machine, are used to meet the development needs of China's metallurgical industry, mechanical manufacturing, and scientific research. Recently, our factory has designed and manufactured the MP-2A stainless steel grinding and polishing machine, which can complete various processes such as rough grinding, fine grinding, dry grinding, wet grinding, and grinding and polishing of samples by simply replacing the throwing and grinding discs. This machine has infinite speed regulation, which can be adjusted to a specific speed as needed, and can be operated by two people simultaneously.

The MP-2A stainless steel grinding and polishing machine adopts a stainless steel shell with a beautiful appearance, making it the ideal equipment for metallographic laboratories. The machine uses a BY71 motor as the power source, which can easily install the grinding and polishing disc. When the power is turned on, the grinding and polishing disc rotates smoothly. This machine is controlled by a frequency converter and can be adjusted at any speed within 0-1500r/min.

The MP-2A dual disc metallographic grinding and polishing machine is equipped with a water inlet pipe, a plug, and a flow pipe that can be used for wet grinding. During wet grinding, water sandpaper is placed into the grinding disc and the plug is opened to continuously flow clean water into the rotating grinding disc. Due to centrifugal force, the water is thrown out of the disc. The atmospheric pressure tightly adheres the water sandpaper to the grinding disc, allowing for smooth wet grinding. When the rotation stops, this function is lost, and the water sandpaper can be freely removed and replaced with various grit and grade sandpapers.
