The YZRW series metallurgical and lifting eddy current brake wound rotor three-phase asynchronous motor (hereinafter referred to as eddy current brake motor) is composed of a YZR series motor and an eddy current brake installed on its secondary shaft extension. It integrates the functions of driving and speed regulation, and its characteristics are stable low-speed speed regulation, no loss of control zone, and reliable operation.

2、 The eddy current brake motor can operate normally under the following environmental conditions.
1. The temperature of the cooling medium shall not exceed 60 ℃ (for motors with H-class insulation) or 40 ℃ (for motors with F-class insulation).
2. The altitude shall not exceed 1000m.
3. Frequent and significant mechanical vibrations and impacts.
The rated frequency of the eddy current brake motor is 50Hz and the rated voltage is 380V. The excitation voltage of the eddy current brake is a DC voltage of 80 ± 15V.

3、 Work system
The reference working system of YZRW series metallurgical and lifting eddy current brake wound rotor three-phase asynchronous motors is S3, with a reference load duration of 40% for the motor and 15% for the eddy current brake. Each working cycle is 10 minutes.
The rated power, moment of inertia (Jm), rotor open circuit voltage, rated braking torque and limited braking torque of the eddy current brake motor under the reference working mode, moment of inertia (Jm), excitation voltage, excitation current, and the corresponding relationship with the machine base number are shown in Table 3.
