The LJ series zero sequence current transformer is used for ground protection of generators or synchronous phase-shifters in 50Hz neutral point non effectively grounded systems.

The relay DD11/60 type is used for LJ series zero sequence current transformers. When there is a ground fault within the protection range, residual current is generated in the secondary circuit of the transformer. When the current reaches a certain value, the relay will operate.
