The 35/70-35002 series pneumatic eccentric rotary control valve is a novel control valve introduced from Masoneilan Company in the United States. It is widely used in automatic regulation and remote control in industries such as chemical, refining, metallurgy, power plants, and textiles.
The 35/70-35002 series pneumatic eccentric rotary control valve consists of a pneumatic actuator and an eccentric rotary valve. There are two forms of pneumatic actuators: the 35 type spring reset drum diaphragm actuator (referred to as drum diaphragm actuator) and the 70 type bi-directional piston actuator (referred to as piston actuator). The structure of the eccentric rotary valve is relatively novel. The valve body is approximately cylindrical, and an eccentric distance is designed between the center of the valve core spherical surface and the rotation center of the valve shaft. When the valve shaft drives the valve core to rotate, the spherical surface of the valve core rotates eccentrically relative to the center of the valve body, and its trajectory follows a cam shaped curve; When the valve is closed, the flexible arm of the valve core undergoes elastic deformation, causing the spherical surface of the valve core to tightly adhere to the valve seat, achieving reliable sealing. Therefore, this valve is also known as a cam deflection valve.
