purpose
The QX4 series automatic star delta starter (hereinafter referred to as the starter) is suitable for voltage reduction starting of three-phase squirrel cage induction motors with AC 380V, 50HZ, power below 75KW, and stator winding connected in a delta during operation. The stator winding is connected from star to delta to reduce the starting current and the impact on the transmission network during motor starting.

Scope of application and working conditions
1. Surrounding air humidity: The I limit should not exceed+40 ℃, the I limit should not be lower than -25 ℃, and the average value within 24 hours should not exceed+35 ℃.
2. The altitude of the installation location shall not exceed 1000M.
3. The relative humidity of the atmosphere should not exceed 50% when the ambient air temperature is+40 ℃. At lower temperatures, there can be higher relative humidity. The monthly average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, and the monthly average minimum temperature of that month is+25 ℃, taking into account the condensation that occurs on the surface of the product due to temperature changes.
4. Vibration with an amplitude not exceeding 0.5 millimeters and a frequency not exceeding 600 times per minute.
5. The inclination with respect to the vertical plane shall not exceed 5 degrees.
6. Places with rain and snow protection equipment.
7. In a medium without explosive hazards, and in a place where there is no condensation, corrosion of metal bodies, or conductive dust in the medium.

Technical parameters of QX4 series automatic star delta starter
When starting the motor with a starter, the starting current of the power supply line should not exceed 2-3 times the rated current of the motor, and the starting torque should be about one-third of the full voltage starting with a delta connection.
The working system of the starter is intermittent long-term working system or repeated short-term working system. The operating frequency under the repeated short-term working system is 30 times per hour, and the interval between two consecutive starts is 90 seconds.
