The RY70-240 series thermal fuse is an organic compound type thermal protection component. It has the advantages of small size, fast temperature sensing speed, and accurate operating temperature. It is an ideal component for overheat protection of various household appliances and electric heating products.
Rated voltage: 125V, 250V
Rated current: 5A, 10A, 15A
Instructions for Use:
Lead forming
The lead of this fuse is made of copper wire, which is prone to bending. But it should not be bent frequently to avoid damage. During the process of bending the lead wire, no pressure should be applied to the body of the fuse. Prevent damage to the sealing resin of the fuse from affecting its sealing performance. If bending is required, it must be done at the lead part 3mm away from the fuse body.
Mechanical Strength Description
The lead pulling force should not exceed 5KG, and the shell strength should be 10KG. Shell deformation can cause poor contact or failure.
Connection of leads
The lead connection must be firm to avoid overheating caused by virtual connection and premature disconnection of the fuse. When welding a fuse to a circuit, it should be noted that the high heat generated by the welding should be lower than the breaking temperature of the fuse.
Installation position of fuse
The fuse needs to be installed in a suitable position on the equipment to maintain its performance. The ambient temperature where the fuse is located must be 25-50 ℃ lower than the actual operating temperature
moisture-proof
Thermal fuses should not be used in liquid or toxic gas environments.
