The RW10-10F RM10-10F (F) type fuse is suitable for overload and short-circuit protection of AC 10 kV distribution lines and distribution transformers for the purpose of switching rated load currents. The RW10-10F type is a type I product with a leakage ratio of 2.2. The RW10-10F (M) type is a salt spray resistant product with a leakage ratio of 3.3, suitable for use in high pollution areas, and has the same technical parameters as the 10F type. . 

Structural characteristics of RW10-10F series drop out fuses
A fuse is composed of two main parts: a base and an arc extinguishing device. The working contact is designed as a bridge structure, and the lower end of the arc extinguishing tube is equipped with a rotatable spring bracket, which always keeps the fuse in a tight state to ensure the self-locking of the arc extinguishing tube when it is in the closed position. When the line or transformer is overloaded or short circuited, the fuse melts, and the spring bracket quickly extracts the fuse from the arc extinguishing tube under the action of the torsion spring. To reduce the burning time and consumption of arc extinguishing materials.  
The fuse tube adopts a step-by-step exhaust structure. When breaking small fault currents, due to the closed upper end, a single end exhaust is formed, which maintains a large pressure inside the tube to extinguish the small fault currents. When breaking large short-circuit currents, the upper end is flushed open to form two end exhaust, reducing the pressure inside the tube and preventing mechanical damage to the fuse tube when breaking large short-circuit currents. Therefore, this product can reliably break any current between the upper limit current capacity and the lower limit current capacity.  
The fuse is equipped with an arc extinguishing chamber and arc contacts, which can open and close the rated load current and act as a load switch. During the opening and closing operation, the arc is generated on the arc contacts and extinguished in the arc extinguishing chamber to protect the working contacts from arc burns. The arc extinguishing chamber is made of a new type of engineering plastic compression.
