1、 Overview:

The DZS2 series electromagnetic power-off brake is a friction brake (hereinafter referred to as the brake) that disengages (releases) when powered on and applies spring braking when powered off. It is mainly matched with Y series motors to form YEJ series electromagnetic braking three-phase asynchronous motors. Widely used in metallurgy, construction, chemical industry, food, machine tools, packaging and other machinery, as well as in safety (risk prevention) braking during power outages, to achieve fast parking and accurate positioning.
This type of brake has the advantages of compact structure, easy installation (no need to adjust the air knee during installation), wide adaptability, low noise, high working frequency, sensitive action, and reliable braking. It can be equipped with a manual release device and is an ideal automation control actuator.

The DZS2 series electromagnetic power-off brake can reliably operate under the following conditions:
1. The altitude shall not exceed 1000M; the relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 90%, and the ambient temperature shall be between+40 ℃ and -15 ℃.
2. There is no gas or dust in the surrounding medium that can corrode metals and damage insulation.
3. The brake adopts B-level insulation, with voltage fluctuations not exceeding+5% to -15% of the rated voltage, and its working mode is continuous operation.
The brake is composed of magnetic yoke, excitation coil, spring, brake disc, armature, shaft sleeve, manual release device and other components. When the brake coil is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field that attracts the armature towards the magnetic yoke, causing the armature to detach (release) from the brake disc; When the coil loses power, the magnetic flux disappears, the armature is released, and the spring is pressed against the armature, compressing the friction plate on the brake disc and generating friction torque to achieve the purpose of braking.
