The JDZS series AC electromagnetic power-off brake is a friction brake that disengages (releases) when powered on and applies spring braking when powered off. It is mainly matched with Y series motors to form YEJ series electromagnetic braking three-phase asynchronous motors. Widely used in metallurgy, construction, chemical industry, food, machine tools, printing, packaging and other machinery, as well as in situations such as emergency braking during power outages.

The JDZS series AC electromagnetic power-off brake has the advantages of compact structure, wide applicability, high working frequency, sensitive action, reliable braking, easy installation and wiring, no need for rectifiers, and faster braking time than DC brakes. It is an ideal automation actuator.

Installation precautions: Warning
The friction plate and armature surface must be free of oil stains and must be kept clean;
During installation, it is necessary to ensure an air gap of "δ";
The gear sleeve must not have axial displacement.
After installation, tighten the locking nut onto the rear cover or flange of the motor.
