The DLTZ3 series electromagnetic power-off brake is a friction brake with electromagnetic disengagement (release) and power-off spring pressure, which can achieve fast parking and accurate positioning. It can be used in situations such as safe (anti danger) braking when there is no power supply.

The brake is composed of magnetic yoke, excitation coil, spring, brake disc, armature, gear sleeve, manual release device, mounting screws and other parts. When the brake coil is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field that attracts the armature towards the magnetic yoke, and the armature and brake disc
Release (release); When the coil loses power, the magnetic flux disappears, the armature is released, and the spring applies pressure to the armature, compressing the friction plate on the brake disc and generating braking torque to achieve the purpose of braking.

Instructions for Use:

The brake belongs to the dry type and must work in an oil-free state to avoid affecting the torque; When installing the brake, adjust it to the specified δ value by installing the installation screws, and then unscrew the hollow bolt to lock the back cover end of the motor or the fixed plate of the equipment; The brake should be installed horizontally; The δ value of the brake should not exceed the maximum working air gap, otherwise the δ value should be readjusted to the specified value.
