1、 Purpose and Characteristics
The TQWZ3 series forklift electromagnetic brake is a safety brake designed based on spring compression and power-off braking. It is mainly used in forklifts to achieve functions such as rapid parking, accurate positioning, and safe braking (risk prevention) in case of power failure.

2、 Usage conditions
The brake can operate continuously and reliably under the following conditions:
The altitude shall not exceed 1000 meters.
The ambient operating temperature ranges from -15 ° C to+40 ° C.
The average humidity for wet months is 90%, and the average low temperature for that month is not higher than 25 ° C.
There is no gas or dust in the surrounding medium that can corrode metals and damage insulation.
The working voltage fluctuation of the coil shall not exceed+5% to -15% of the rated working voltage.
Friction pairs must not contaminate oily substances.
3、 Working principle and installation maintenance
The electromagnetic brake is mainly composed of excitation parts (yoke 8, coil 7, spring 6, armature 5), brake disc 4 (friction plate, aluminum disc, spline sleeve) and other main components. After adjusting the air gap to the specified value δ, unscrew hollow bolt 1 in the opposite direction and tighten the excitation part with DING. The excitation part is connected to the brake plate 3 through the installation of screw 2, and the brake plate 3 is fixedly installed on the motor end cover. The spline sleeve is connected to the transmission shaft through a key, and the aluminum disc with friction plate engages with the spline sleeve through a spline. When coil 7 is de energized, under the action of spring force, friction is generated between brake disc 4, armature 5, and brake plate 3, which is transmitted to the drive shaft through the spline sleeve to brake the shaft. After the coil is energized, under the action of electromagnetic force, the armature 5 is attracted towards the magnetic yoke 8, causing the brake disc 4 to release and the transmission shaft brake to be released.
Before installation, the friction pair surface should be cleaned of oil stains and debris. After working for a period of time, due to the wear of friction materials, the working air gap of the brake is too large. The air gap should be adjusted in a timely manner to avoid affecting normal operation.
4、 Function Introduction
The TQWZ3 series electromagnetic power-off brake is a friction brake that disengages (releases) when powered on and applies spring braking when powered off. It is mainly used as a forklift drive system with servo motors. Applied in electric forklifts, stackers, and in situations such as power outages (emergency braking).
