The LGQ series resistor capacitor overvoltage absorber is suitable for use as a vacuum switch supporting device in AC 50HZ, 3KV, 5KV, and 35KV high-voltage switchgear. It is used to absorb the operating overvoltage and indoor intrusion lightning impulse overvoltage waves during switch opening and closing, and to protect electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, and switches.
Normal operating conditions for the impedance capacitance absorber:
1. The altitude shall not exceed 2500m
2. The ambient air temperature should not exceed+45 ℃ and should not be lower than -5 ℃.
3. The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 90 ℃.
4. Indoor use. Vertical installation. The inclination shall not exceed 5 degrees.
5. The distortion rate of the power grid voltage should not exceed 35KV ≤ 3%
3KV;5KV; 10KV≤4%
Execution standards:
GB311.1-1997 Insulation Coordination for High Voltage Transmission and Transformation Equipment.
CB/T11024.1~4-2001 Parallel capacitors for AC power systems with standard voltage above 1KV
The main technical parameters of the LGQ series resistor capacitor overvoltage absorber are shown in the table:
1. Capacitors are allowed to have a deviation of ± 10%
2. Tangent value of capacitor loss angle (excluding resistance) ≤ 0.04%
3. The allowable resistance value is ± 10%
Model and basic parameters:
The model and meaning of the resistance capacitance absorber are as follows:
Structure, external dimensions, and wiring:
Structure:
The housing of the LGQ series resistor capacitor overvoltage absorber is made of SMC material, and the capacitor is made of high-quality polypropylene film as the solid medium, sealed and filled with flame-retardant polyurethane. The product has stable and reliable performance, and is equipped with a woven non inductive resistor with good heat dissipation performance.
The external dimensions are shown in Figure 1-4, and the wiring is shown in Figure 5
Usage, Inspection, and Maintenance:
1. The impedance capacitance overvoltage absorber should be installed vertically with a slope not exceeding 5 degrees, and it is recommended to be connected near the protected equipment, as shown in Figure 5
When the impedance capacitance overvoltage absorber is out of operation, it should be fully discharged and maintenance can only be carried out when the remaining voltage is below 40V.
3. The resistor capacitor overvoltage absorber should be inspected regularly at least once a year to determine if it is functioning properly. The method of inspection is as follows:
Before putting the impedance capacitance overvoltage absorber into operation, measure its capacity value and loss tangent value with a bridge, and record the measurement frequency and results.
When inspecting the resistance capacitance absorber after power outage or discharge, the same bridge and measurement frequency should be used to measure the capacitance value and loss tangent value. If it is found that the capacitance of the 3KV, 6KV, and 10KV resistance capacitance overvoltage absorber increases by 10%, and the capacitance of the 35KV resistance capacitance overvoltage absorber increases by 3%, the loss tangent value increases by 0.1%, indicating that there is an internal fault in the capacitor and it should be replaced in a timely manner.
4. During the factory withstand voltage test of the impedance capacitance overvoltage absorber, the test voltage shall be 75% of the value specified in Table 1.
5. As this product is designed for all working conditions, it is resistant to moisture and dirt, and only requires regular surface cleaning treatment.
